I'm sure you're probably not thinking about what you're doing in August at the moment. But you should be!!! The 3 Day Closing Ceremonies are being held on Sunday, August 17th. Location TBD at the moment, but make sure to add it to your calendar. I LOVE seeing family and friends after such an incredible and long 60 mile journey!!! After having seen the set up last year, I guarentee you'll have a good time. You can cheer on the walkers as they finish, make signs with materials they provide, bring beach chairs and even a picnic if you want. Just a fun time. And then you're rewarded with the actual Closing Ceremony saluting all the walkers, crew members and especially Survivors. Very heart-warming and emotional. Hope to see you all there!!!
